Main conference topic
The United Nations adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 as a universal attempt to end poverty and protect the planet. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which represent a call for action by all countries in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
Progressing toward the desired goal is, fundamentally, a decision-making process. The 93rd meeting of the EURO working group on Multiple Criteria Decision Aiding (EWG-MCDA 93) aims to pinpoint the potential of multiple criteria decision aiding methods as an ideal support methodology for the SDG goals.
